Low Income Tenants Evicted

Closure of a residential hotel in Vancouver's downtown eastside causes criticism. The hotel was closed as a result of its failure to adhere to fire saftey regulations. However, the fact that it was closed too fast for tenants to find new homes has made critics question the municipal government's motives behind the closure.
