Job Description: 

The Justice Education Society has an immediate opening for
an Administrative Assistant for our downtown office at Vancouver Law Courts, Robson Square. This is a full-time position of 34 hours per week. This position provides support to a series of JES programs, including the Justice System Education Program and Parenting After Separation programs.

Skills and Qualities Required: 

Skills and Qualities Required:
• A minimum of 5 years administrative experience in an office or school environment.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, manage client relationships and maintain administrative systems.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Highly organized and structured with creativity and problem-solving ability allowing a variety of activities to remain on-track and on schedule.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use common business applications: MS-Office, email, internet

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Coordinating educational sessions to students and community groups, as well as separating parents Planning, organizing and
supporting educational programs and workshops Receiving groups attending education sessions at the Vancouver Law Courts Coordinating administrative and office procedures Performing other duties as may be assigned.
