UN reviews Canada's human rights under Stephen Harper

Last week Canada's human rights record was under UN review for the first time since Stephen Harper came into power in 2006. Many Canadian non-profit and advocacy organizations were in Geneva including the The Poverty and Human Rights Centre and Canada Without Poverty to talk about Canada's deteriorating tolerance for human rights advocacy, protest, and dissent.
