UBC study shows housing affordability and instability are pressing issues for Metro Vancouver

A recent study conducted by the Housing Justice Project indicates that among other issues, renters in Metro Vancouver struggle with housing affordability and instability.

With major community projects about to increase density to areas like Marpole and Grandview-Woodland, Penny Gurstein, author of the study and director of UBC’s school of community and regional planning, argues that increased density will not bring affordability and stability to renters.
