Native Women's Association of Canada Calls for National Inquiry Into Missing Aboriginal Women

The B.C. Missing Women Inquiry will examine the question of why it took so long to investigate and apprehend convicted murderer Robert Pickton. The Attorney General for B.C., Barry Penner, has denied funding to 13 groups who were previously granted standing at the inquiry.

Native Women's Association of Canada is among the groups to whom funding has been denied, and they shine a spotlight on the issue in a new press release, also asking for an inquiry at the national level to be supported by all levels of government.
