Advocacy Description:
Fred Victor is a social services organization that helps homeless and low income people living in Toronto.
They offer a wide range of programs that help each person find the support they need. Whether it is finding affordable housing or emergency shelter, job training or counselling, food access or health information, Fred Victor dedicates itself to innovatively serving people who are experiencing homelessness and poverty.
Services include:
- a mental health and justice program
- employment and training
- referrals to doctors, dentists, legal help, training programs, employment opportunities and much more
- an I.D. clinic for replacement of your I.D. at no cost
- mental health and substance support services
- women’s day programss
- anti-poverty health services
