The Gander Status of Women Council works towards achieving equality through advocacy, lobbying, public education, providing community leadership and delivering direct services.

The Gander Women's Centre offers the following services:

• a non-therapeutic support/referral service for women seeking assistance with any type of problem
• films, informal discussion, and a resource library
• a drop-in centre - a place to relax and have a coffee
• a place to start dealing with whatever problem or concern you have
