Election promises include housing

Paul Martin promised anti-poverty activists that he would put forward a housing releif plan as part of his party's platform upon entering the next election. Although he wouldn't say how much he would be willing to give to fund such a plan, anti-poverty activists were glad to here him talk about the issue. Martin also took steps to ensure that he was not just talking about large cities in his plan. He said that smaller communities would recieve funding as well, so to ensure that they have equal opportunities to urban communities.
