Hunger in Canada Increases

The federal government has failed in its pledge to reduce hunger and poverty as more and more Canadians must turn to food banks across the country to feed their families. The 2002 HungerCount Report shows that since 1996, when the pledge was made, food bank use has increased by more than 12%.
